What Are the Steps for a Thermage® Treatment?

After a consultation with Dr. Calabria, he will determine which areas can be treated with Thermage® and make his recommendations.
There are three layers of the skin: the epidermis, the dermis, and the subcutaneous fat underneath. Throughout these three layers of skin is a web of collagen fibers that begin to relax with the natural aging process.
Thermage® is the only radiofrequency device that addresses all three layers of the skin by tightening the collagen webbing, which causes an immediate improvement in the texture and tone of the skin. Thermage® can be used on any color and type of skin.
Emitting pulses of radiofrequency waves, the deep layers of skin are heated, resulting in contractions.
